Tea Art, Tea Extras

Jasmine Snow Bud “Me Li Xue Ya” Series

Life is funny sometimes. I really didn’t care for this tea, but the art it inspired is another story. I’m really happy with this series and feel like I’ve grown a bit as an artist with it. Of course, there’s always room for improvement, but other than one piece in the series they all came together almost effortlessly.

As has become the tradition, here’s where I started:

And here is where I went with it:

I received a whole pound of tea from Yunnan Sourcing today, and I’m biting at the bit to get started on the next series. I have some really fun stuff planned and hope you check back in to see what I come up with this month.

All works in this series are original and available for purchase as HD Acrylic prints. Email me for more information with the image and approximate size youโ€™re interested in.

Thanks for stopping by,
